August 3, 2017 – In mid-July, UCI’s Summer Session department held their 2nd Annual Night Market – an exciting event filled to the brim with cultural festivities and different foods. Several organizations on-campus such as the Cambodian Awareness Organization and Camp Kasem at UC Irvine participated in the event by selling a variety of foods such as beef sticks with rice.

Many eventgoers participated in the night market’s numerous festivities, which include: lip-sync competition, open mic, lion dance performances, carnival games, group competitions, and opportunity drawings. If participants were to be of the first 50 people to take part in any of the events, they were able to receive a single Polaroid shot for free!
